To be fair, all the info he posted, he could have got from here the other night, and the way he was going on, just shouting for you, wasnt what any male looking for a date would do (well apart from David!). It was def just some wind up merchant.

Yeah, agree there Dave. It's probably quite easy to pick up info about people on here and then put two and two together. Posted about it before but I was "recognised" by Barbara6812 at the checkout in sada. It was probably what I was buying, patter to SA and coupons etc but a voice from behind me said "you must be artha" or "are you artha?" Confused the hell out of the SA when she looked at the name on my personalised coupons:o

Rebecca and Tinyshoes, I once was using the hair dryer and managed to gauge a tiny part of the cornea out of my left eye!:eek: its because my nails were very long then, not so long anymore!

was very painful, I looked like a pirate for 2 days had to wear a patch:rotfl::rotfl:

I had a similar accident with a toe nail.
Was cutting my toe nails late one night and one just shot up in the air and stabbed me in the eye
Thought it would be ok if I just bathed it, but come the morning I looked like I'd been in the ring with Mike Tyson so I had to go to A&E.
I now wear glasses or sunglasses when I cut them.
    Daughter told everyone of course.

Here is my contribution to the snow pics. This is Vicar's Close in Wells. Apparently the oldest street in Europe!

Right, go back just after dusk (before the sky is inky black) with a tripod and take the same pic (with no people in it).

Look forward to seeing it in coming days! :)

Dont worry if you do need one, my Mum has had 3 cornea grafts, yes the woman has 3 eyes :D, she had to have one done twice because it had a fold in it.

Had to dash her to Moorfields on Saturday because she had stabbing pains in it & they said anything strange come straight in, in case of rejection I think it was done about 2 years ago.

Turns out it was extremely dry eyes as she has had the radiators & electric fire on, he said if we hadnt told him it was a graft it has healed so well it would be very hard to tell.

OUCH:eek:. My problem was the my eyes are prone to irritation and infection, and because of this the scratch wouldn't heal and would just cause the eye to go bloodshot and water.
Touch wood its been ok for about 3 months now ( longest yet), but its taken 3 injections into the eyeball to get it there:eek:

    :wave:flying visit.....

Last time I was at Moorfields, the nurse had me wedged against a wall sticking needles in my tear ducts  (to flush them out).
Eye kept watering and they suspected a blocked duct - every time she came at me with the needle I backed off (sitting in chair)- hence making me stand against wall.

    Was not pleasant :(

Tried to keep up, not very well, lately.
Did see about the 3 4 2 on vits in b't with free energiser?vits.
Am doing sch run with gd in morning so will pop in around 9.15 to check out (not a big store though) will let you know how it goes.
