Dont worry if you do need one, my Mum has had 3 cornea grafts, yes the woman has 3 eyes , she had to have one done twice because it had a fold in it.

Had to dash her to Moorfields on Saturday because she had stabbing pains in it & they said anything strange come straight in, in case of rejection I think it was done about 2 years ago.

Turns out it was extremely dry eyes as she has had the radiators & electric fire on, he said if we hadnt told him it was a graft it has healed so well it would be very hard to tell.

was very painful, I looked like a pirate for 2 days had to wear a patch:rotfl::rotfl:

OUCH:eek:. My problem was the my eyes are prone to irritation and infection, and because of this the scratch wouldn't heal and would just cause the eye to go bloodshot and water.
Touch wood its been ok for about 3 months now ( longest yet), but its taken 3 injections into the eyeball to get it there:eek:
