]Evening all. We are back from weekend in London and all kernackered  it has been good despite the almost constant snow and very low temperatures. I went on the Emirates Air Line cable car across Thames twice yesterday, once in daylight and then again late at night, and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite thinking it would terrify me with my great fear of heights. Would recommend it to anyone. Views are great too
We all met up with Aesop and her darling DS this morning for breakfast at the O2Arena then across city to have a browse in Harrods. It was wonderful to see them again and to have a good natter. Worth going to London for on it's own
We'd arranged to leave our luggage at the hotel when we checked out this morning, so picked that up and got train home about 6, getting back to Kit's about 7.30, tired but happy :j
Now I am going to do a bit of catching up so I may be quite a while
Morning 3Dogs! ... wonder if you played one of our favourite games in Harrods- spot the most expensive (useless) thingI think the last time we were there (years ago now) it was a £300,000 crystal CHAIR! :rotfl::rotfl:
Glad you made it back safe!
Tweets, those roads look awful!!! I wouldn't drive in that - certainly not with a child in the car. Silly schoolsGood luck today x

I have one of them posh hidden bag bins - but mine's called 'Simplehuman' (make of that what you will) and I think I got it RTC for a fiver from Ts.
Luckily it's a kind were it's easy to use non compatible bin bags with it and still keep them hidden - makes me look well posh and no-one knows that I buy value bin bags(apparently the 50p A bin bags are collectors items.....

then I recovered and this made me inhale the rest!
No school for DD today and poor DS I dragged out of bed as their website said they expected to be open, they announced via Twitter @ 8am they would be shut (just as he was leaving!) then finally texted parents @ 8.30 (when the school day usually starts) they were shut.
Nothing like leaving it late - grrrrrr :mad:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
