    Mrs Brown is on.

It's the repeat ain't it? I didn't find this weeks episode very funny. It's quite samey samey each week to be fair.

Good evening everybody I hope you have all had a good day, Thanks to the OP about the cheese at Lidl. I got some today once built up the nerve tonight.
I picked up the free milk from Mr W.

I popped to a local Mr A and found Mr A chosen by you 20 recycled refuse sacks with a sell price of 50p. Went through self serve and realised they had gone through at £2.50.
When the SA went to look the wrong sale price was there. however they honoured my 4 packs for 50p. worth looking out for in the Local stores. Bar code 538483 S to see if anymore have been mis priced.
they should give you £2 voucher for overcharge hun xx

You can't use the blasted vouchers on reduced items, it clearly says that and the SA's no longer even try. I don't know what to use my vouchers on, I have 10 now, would be
awful for them to go to waste, but I don't actually want to pay anything on top, I just want things for free. :D

If I spot any reduced items I will use the SS tills:D I want free too:D

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Rice Snaps (440g)£1.58£1.40

Nestle Blue Riband should compare better vs Morries (for those of us outside N.I.), as it's currently 77p each in M. There's also apparently a "100% extra free" version avail. outright from M itself for 77p.

There's a very very minor 'glitch' on the Sada PG today as it's comparing Smartprice M/S Brown Bread 800g to M's Savers Wholemeal version - all for the minor reduction of two pence if you put it on an M comp., but then you'd need to know what else is comparing best vs M (and it's cost more than 2p in the electricity to post and read all this...& etc.).

Onto a separate matter - another trivial and totally insignificant thing - I've had one womble today - managed to find it in the Sada trolley I picked up for my own shop - voucher is a grand total of three pence!! Hardly worth bothering with - and beats my own previous low (apart from nothing at all of course) of 7p. As you already know, I have my own bionic spectacles that allow me to see the likely voucher value underneath any Sada receipt - I was hoping that some Tuna at £5 would be cheaper elsewhere, but it came out non-comp. on the 'best' comparison. They bought lots of soup - fortunately not of the 50p variety but instead £1 each and I felt that these were probably the Glorious! soups cheaper at A and therefore I stood no chance unless the APG system failed to pick up these items on the comp vs M.

In the end, A were cheapest, but - wait for it - weren't 10% cheaper than W. It's very hit and miss though, as to what people have bought, as it's largely due to there being fewer comparable items that exist at W on this particular shop - therefore if for example, someone gets a load of items and almost all of them happen to be N/A for W but only one item they get is comparable - it only takes for it to be same price at A and W for a voucher to result. On this occasion, they had quite a few more comparable items vs W than that - but it seems a slightly cheaper price at W for some Pedigree dog food (which just happens to be of a variety that happens to be stocked in W) has largely resulted in the 3p back amount. It's pure chance with the general shops of the public!

Yes and there is huge pressure on them to sell stuff especially if they are part of a franchise:( shame really.

You talking from experience there patty ;) it wasn't so much the cost I was talking about more the couldn't really be bothered attitude. But yes when people are worried about pets easy to upsell oh we should get bloods etc

Hi all, hope you don't mind an occasional poster asking a question. The Freixenet Cordon Negra cava is £5 at Sada and £9.49 at T's. I don't live near an A's (which is why I don't often post on here as can't really participate in A-related talk), but I do like this cava. Does anyone know if it is likely to compare on a T's PP - the A's description says 'Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava' and the T's says 'Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava' even though the pictures are the same. TIA xx
