    Morning all

Wow, well I think I missed an entire thread
Things all got a bit hectic before Christmas as I ended up admitted to hospital. Essentially I only had a cough/cold/ear infection but my white cells had dropped to virtually nil with the chemotherapy so I had to have IV antibiotics.
Reaaaallly hoping the same doesn't happen this cycle. My blood levels were already borderline before my chemo on Wednesday so the boys and I are tucked up at home trying to stay away from the germs

We had a busy Xmas and New Year and the little ones were spoilt rotten. My living room resembles Toys r Us :o.

Hope you're all keeping ok x

Logie - great to see you posting I have been thinking of you - sorry the germs got you on your first cycle! Sounds like you still managed to have a good xmas and new year. Cuddle the boys and keep warm and as rested as possible.

Well my brief good news is over. I wrote a few days ago that my mortgage company had offered me a deal to consolidate my arrears and I was going to be about £300 per month better off. So I though great this will be the year I sort out my finances. Then get up this morning to a letter with the new mortgage figures and the payment will now be £160.00 more per month not £300.00 less.
So really upset and when I phoned them they just said the figures I was given were wrongly calculated and the new figure was correct. I would not have done it if I though I would be worse off. I am struggling as it is. And would you believe the department I have been dealing with is called "Tool Box"!!!
Anyway my younger brother just called me about something else and he said if I get the figures over to him he will to the amoratisation figures and help me write to them.

Rosie sorry re the above - definitely poor from your mortgage company - and a 'deal' on false pretences. So the 'new' figures are a new deal - reject if you can. Hope your brother can help you sort it out.

Sending hugs to all that need it and recovering (snap-ant take it easy).

I am coming out the otherside now and even had enough eyelashes to put mascara on today wohay!

Thanks Patty for the new thread -it is a lovely place at present. Great to see the 'returners' this week - welcome back .

I'm just managing to get on once a day at the moment - you guys have been busy, by the time I have caught up its time to log off! Reminds me when I first was on here and used to catch up at night by the time I had caught up the nightbar had opened and closed! :o

I am saving my new energy for the kids and doing more round the house. Too much in the cupboards to merit supermarket shop at the moment. Anyhow off to do the quiz ....

Just in case some of you have not already stocked up with Xmas items cards for next year ...............

Link takes you to reductions page - most are 50%, some are 75%. Xmas cards are good from here - there are even some with inserts in Welsh for those of you preferring that option. And you will know that all of the profit goes to the charity and not a small token from the supermarkets.

A couple of natty ducks for those that like to collect them.

My son loves the monkey with the snowball - will be the cards for his class next year...
