If we're at mam's, she will bug me to go home after a certain time because she wants her dinner, bath and bed! She wont wear pj's that don't match and her bedroom has to be a certain way. In the past couple of days she's taken to avoiding cracks in the pavement! I know my DD and want her to have the support that I think she'll need, we'll see what happens, I'm going to wait until after her 3rd birthday in August and if I'm still concerned, take her back for the assessment.
I only knew about the WHD because it was on MSE last yearEon sent us a reminder letter back in October I think it was, asking if we wanted to apply again for this year and I sent it back the same day! Am so relieve it's finally arrived
I see why you're concerned. The routines and the obsessiveness about things like clothes and her bedroom and anything else! are common in autusm. Like you say, you know your daughter best, and you will know yourself if you need to go back for further investigations. You sound like a fab mum:)
I've been through the whole thing an am always around if you want to PM and let some steam off x0 -
