Just a word of warning to all the nice people out there to take no notice of this person. They come from my neck of the woods and before now have posted that certain items are not available in any of there Tescos etc, only for me to find the store has plenty. So please take what this poster says with a pinch of salt.

How the hell do you now where I come from, and please tell me what products you are on about, as I would never lie to people on a forum for my on benefit.

By the way it is 'their' not 'there'.

    Afternoon guys.
Not been on much but I've quickly caught up to find I missed a very short lived glitch on the APG system. Not too bothered though as I wouldn't have risked going out last night due to everything going mental near me, police and helicopters everywhere

I'm not getting much sleep with the dogs, I've tried everything except leaving the tv on for a bit of noise. I've bought them new beds so they're off the floor a bit more, I've got them new cushions for them too and have spent all day with those beside me to try and get our scent on them to hopefully settle them.

DS is off school sick then said to me at 11 he'd have loved to be at school!
He hasn't been feeling too well since Friday when he went out with my brother to pick a birthday prezzie, he left some of his dinner but my brother left some too so he just thought they'd been given bigger portion sizes than normal.
On saturday we went to pizza hut for lunch just the two of us and he only ate garlic bread and 1 slice of pizza, not usual for him so I asked was he ok as he'd been looking forward to it but he said he felt ill.
We were due to go out on Sunday for a meal (tradition for us to go to the restaurant of birthday persons choice) I wanted to cancel but he said he felt ok to go then when we got there he said he didn't want anything
So today's his birthday and he's spent it feeling sick and tired, hopefully he'll feel better soon either that or we'll have to eat his cake ourselves and buy him another when he's better.

Hope ds feels better soon. :A
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

Call of Trouty, out of interest, would you classify me as a taker not a giver?

Think my Drs are just hoping i'll get them from the hospital like I have before. Probably money orientated as mentioned before. To be honest that's probably what i'll do as they don't make a fuss about it so much. They can't understand why the surgery are being so awkward. Seems daft to me when they are so pushed for appt slots that they'd see people more than necessary.
All being well if the tumour has shrunk when I next have a scan then i'll be able to stop them then it'll be one less thing to worry about.
Hello Logie, Can you phone your GP and have a chat about this? It is clearly ridiculous to make you go in so often, unless they are running tests each appointment before giving over the drugs. Waiting for an hour in a crowded doctor's waiting room is also the last thing you need 7-.10 days after chemo. I know that after I have chemo my doctor always tries to arrange an appointment first thing for me if necessary, so I can go straight in, but is happier to talk to me on the phone most times and fax a prescription straight to my chemist for me to collect. I still go out and about, but am able to avoid overcrowded places this way. Even now I find myself flinching each time I am around someone who is sneezing though, even though my last cycle ended a few months ago and I am just on 'maintenance' drugs at the moment. You need your GP to understand that making you come in so often is counter-productive as you are not only wasting your time and theirs but also putting yourself at risk by hanging around in waiting rooms full of...sick people when you have a compromised immune system. Wishing you all the best. xx.
I am not young enough to know everything.

having dug out the drive both yesterday and today - I was being bugged by the cat demanding to be let out the front door - he usually uses his microchipped cat flap no problem..............then it dawned on me - his cat flap was frozen shut and there was nowhere clear outside for him to "do his business" Have just cleared the cat flap, steps, and a bit of garden so he is a happy puss now - just couldn't believe I didn't think of it and was getting seriously annoyed with him meowing to be let out the front!!

Just got 100% confirmation from my favourite SA that the Boots 75% sale is tomorrow :):T:T:T:TSo no peeking through windows for me tonight, early night and alarm set:) So funny it's all very cloak and dagger and it was whispered to me. Me and Nannylala might just have squirrelled a few bits in corners in there;):o
