There is no big mountain in Aberdeen - can only think she may be going to the lecht - over towards Aviemore (highlands). We have a smaller hill in Aberdeenshire called Bennachie (can see covered in snow from my kitchen window).
Would seriously advise that she checks it is still on before heading up here as the weather is dreadful and it is still snowing...........

I spoke to her this morning, and their going to the Cairngorm...
It's an arranged expedition with the University, she's studying Outdoor Education, and this is part of her course.. I hope (being a Mother) that they cancel it.. I dont like seeing people travelling in this weather..
Their climbing it and skiing down..

Hi logie good here from you, can understand your frustration at the GP, sometimes think they are too ££ focused, are the injections a heprin type drug or is it the injection to encourage red blood cells (aranesp possible?), as for going out probably not the best idea but if your determind go when it's likely to be quieter

Thanks izzy, you are right of course. I would be silly to go :o Just getting a bit bored of these 4 walls. Thank goodness I have you lot to keep me sane(ish!) and behaving myself ;)
I'm taking a low dose heparin (clexane) every day as the tumour was pressing on some major blood vessels in my chest and they want to reduce the chance of a blood clot.
The other injections to boost the bone marrow I only have to take for 3 days of the cycle and I've finished them this time. They should have helped my immune system to recover after the chemo. I've been told I have to be careful of germs for 7-10 days after chemo and it'll be a week tomorrow so almost there.

Think I'll have a little rethink of the online shop once I know what will be a good deal tomorrow. Current basket total is £69 now so many offers aren't valid  Sure I can find some food in the freezer to keep us going an extra day ;)
