LOL I'd have probably done the same :D
I've had a call before to fetch DD once when I thought she just had some spots and it was 'impotigo' - I'd never even heard of it and once again she seemed right as rain to me (I'm obviously either unsympathetic or seriously thick :D)

impetigo is horribly catching . my ds was quite ill with it he had weepy open sore in his hair and antibiotics took ages to work he had a couple of weeks off school and had to have his head shaved
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:

I think DD only had it mildy, she just seemed to have a spotty chin but was off school for a week. Eeeek for your poor DS! Guess my DD got off lightly.
I know now what it is and how contagious it is but was clueless before, luckily it was the receptionist at the school who is also a pharmacist (and a family friend) that called me so she knew I hadn't dropped her off on purpose. Still didn't stop me feeling like a right numpty!

Morning all. Just caught up after an early morning trip to T. Been snowing steadily here in the North East since 10:30 but just starting to ease off a bit. My car doesn't like snow one bit...low profile wide tyres:mad:

Looks to be a few DTD opportunities this morning with 13/1 SELS if you can find them but be careful as a lot of offers are rolling over to 23/1. The Denby I mentioned yesterday is definitely on:)

My wombling to date figure is £60.41 to include trolleys/receipts - bad bad figures.......should be over double given the number of receipts checked:D
