I really do not need to visit T today but I'm having to fight the urge:)

    It really can become addictive

I must start factoring the cost of petrol to convince myself it's not worth getting the car out for a few whoopsies:o:);)

Yep, itcan get like that at times. I've managed to ween myself off the OCD collecting to a degree now and try to just get what I need. Quite pleased as I've not bought a single Sally and apart from a few toblerones I've steered clear of all the biscuit and chocolate xmas clearance stuff.

    Wow, I'm cured......well for now anyway! :D

Aye and then some for being lied to not just in store but by head office as well. She's getting her £5 for the refused coupon but nothing else as far as I know. You can imagine she's not best pleased with me for telling her she could use it no problem :o
Hello, I am replying to this a day late, so others have probably got there first, but here goes anyway.

It is very distressing and humiliating to be wrongly informed by staff and refused in store when offering legitimate vouchers. I give the store manager a chance to correct things first. Then call customer service and give them a chance, as you have done. But then, if the problem has still not been resolved to your satisfaction ( I would expect a voucher of minimum 10.00 for your mother, but she/you/both need to decide what you think is fair) contact customer service by e-mail, and also copy in philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com as a second address, stating that you are contacting them again about .....because you are still upset and the matter has not been resolved, .....and what can they do to help sort this out for you. You may like to mention all the ways this has inconvenienced you and that a gesture of goodwill would be appreciated too. The fact that customer services know that head office has been informed helps speed things up mightily, and often head office takes over.

I have always had a courtesy reply from head office straight away, and they then look into it and sort it out within 24 hours. I always pretty much got at least what I was asking for each time, and sometimes more! Hope that helps.
I am not young enough to know everything.

From what I have read never find a great deal but will when I turn semi pro :rotfl:

    Hi David.

I was at T££side Pork yesterday:)

Is it just me or are the sales poor this year?

Hit marksies at 6 to catch the whoopsies and there wasn't any and all the best meal deals had been taken.

Left with the gammon and garlic mushrooms:o:)

One of the kids is super awkward (I've tried carrot sticks before).
I'll probably just stick to apples and cake bars same as usual. Like the pancake and breadstick idea though :)
On the plus side I think we're going to S as next door are getting new windows fitted and the little one can't sleep with the racket so think a car journey is in order.
Hopefully will make it worth while and get to swing by T on the way home

I make jelly pots for my daughters. Get some 4oz pots with lids from ebay or somewhere. Sometimes I put tinned pineapple in them. Just thought I would share x

No idea TM I hate shopping with a passion  too many people wandering around, window shopping, blocking isles you name it.

Much prefer to get in and out ;) with whatever bargains I am after and with the help of the elite I know before I go what I am after and sometimes where they are hidden :rotfl:Bea how are you ?

I agree. I also know where you are coming from David and it is lovely to get a bargain but at the moment I feel my life/ shopping balance is tipping the wrong way and I need to be back in control. So I will stay at home today and cook bake and mend:) which is very MSE too.

It's no good just buying the stuff. It's nice to be creative in the kitchen too and this gives me a big buzz too:)

Either sada must be cheaper or they fiddling the figures because I been trying for apg for two weeks now and getting nothing back. Anyone else having this problem? I seen on the comparison some dodgy n/a and funny how its just cheaper by the limits of the 10% guarantee...... Hum :j
