No snow here yet but it's very cold. Looking at the forecast we may get snow for this evening. I love the snow as the dogs have such fun in it, although I'm not keen on driving in it.

I'm off into Blackp@@l later to collect my cosy socks from M&S and my Sanctuary sets from Boots. I'm hoping they may start managers reductions in M&S today as last year they started in the homeware department on a Sunday and the following day all departments followed.

hi.heatherlea, hope the dogs are well.if you have a look at the sale stuff in boots could you let us know what its like.thinking of going in on tuesday for a reckie to see if its worth joining the scrum on wednesday.lol.off to work now, hope the heatings on.:)

    Couple of newbie questions now.....
Why do posts have lots of thankyous?

There are no rules - folk use the thanks button for all kinds of reasons to suit themselves. As a post marker. Because it made you smile :rotfl: Because it has been MSE and helped you save money :money: Because someone is having a difficult time and it is a way of expressing empathy or solidarity :(. Because you want to experess your agreement of a comment :T Because you are glad to see a particular person posting that day :). Because someone's post has been uplifting or made a positive difference to your day :A Loads more reasons - it's a very useful button :D Maybe don't read too much into it and use it however you would like - or don't use it at all if that fits better. But I do think the amount of thanks generally reflects the buoyancy and vibrancy of the thread as a whole, so is probably a good thing overall.

Need to go shopping today - have been putting it off as have limited amount of coupons AND NO CS MOCS  Ouch - can't remember the last time I had to pay for my shopping :rotfl::rotfl:

I have hammered on next door's front door at 3am because he fell asleep with the tv on a music channel very loud next to DD's bedroom :( not that it woke him, he apologised the following morning as I put a note through the door, he'd had too much to drink and passed out

We had it daily and nightly for 6 months, you feel like you are going mad, you start listening for the noise/music to start it really does get you down. Hubby was working nights so when I used to go round and bang the door at night I'd have to leave DD in bed in the house on her own. Hubby used to tell me not to go when he wasn't there but there is only so much you can take, the bloke used to open the door with his eyes rolling in his head slurring his words. I'd complain sometimes he'd turn it down for a but then it would either start again later or the next day. It was tv or music usually not just nights either, but really really loud - drove me nuts.

I had this for 10 years when we lived in a flat in west london. Next door were always p$ssed! drove us nuts! I was always hammering on their door at midnight or later! The music got louder & louder as the night went on! They were nocturnal! I was so glad to leave that place! I wouldn't wish noisy neighbours on my worst enemy. It's pure hell, especially when you have to get up early for work. x
