I feel your pain:eek::eek:In the Boots 50% sale this year they had a set of 4 lip pencils, but they go on like lipstick:)I loved the colour of 2 of them so much I bought 3 sets, just in case:o:o:o:oI have showed them to Nannylala so as when we go to the 75% off sale if she sees them she knows to grab them, never have too many spares of your favourite colour;)
So true.for years I used an Olay one then they stopped making it. I collected goody bags this year and have the l'oreal, no7 and clinique ones. Clinique do a lovely stubby lip pencil/lipstick but not right colour. Survived with l'oreal one. Will be checking out Avon in a bit as best one for moisture retention.
Had a splurge on m and s this afternoon as had vouchers from sky.
Got a black velour tracksuit for round the house so I am always ready to rush out glitching, some socks (felt left out and mum loves these ones), plus some butterfly art and a glass bowl to go with new lounge decor.
If I order lippy now can have no spend tomorrow.

If anyone sees them reduced further please let me know.

For once I am not grumpy, I've just had a very sad couple of days, so I haven't posted anything. I had to go to the funeral of a good friend yesterday who died at the age of 47, a week before Christmas. It seems that he was misdiagnosed after a car accident a couple of years ago which eventually resulted in him having a massive heart attack.
I knew a week before the funeral that he had died and I had been fine with it. However, when I actually sat down in the church, it hit me, very hard. When I saw all the slides of him and his family on the ohp and realised that neither they, nor I were ever going to see him again, I couldn’t control myself and the waterworks started. I had gone to the church completely unprepared, without tissues or anything to keep my dignity intact, just the back of my hand, which after a short time wasn’t really enough.
Anyway, a moral I can take from this (albeit a bit too late)..
Don’t lose touch with good friends, as although with great friends you can always catch up the next time you see them as if you had never been apart, sometimes fate kicks in and you never get the opportunity.:(:(
That's terrible. I've been to several funerals of my contemporaries, and I don't think of myself as being very old. Really grim.
The best advice someone gave me was not to think of their lives here as being over, but instead, that their lives are now complete.
I was working so close to Xmas I never managed to send any cards this year. My new years resolution must be to contact everybody and keep the connections and ties that unite us.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

For those of you following my dating escapades, fairclaire, Dm and Mrs stinkface (stinky I am sure you will feel my pain with the following announcement.)
I have lost (yes LOST) my favourite Avon lippy.
Ok not like I don't have several almost the same colour and tone ( nikilala is now laughing) but I loved this one. Not even sure of the colour name but it was one of those ones you can see th swirls of the light reflecting tones:eek::eek:
All is not lost as near perfect one in the l'oreal freebee set I got before Xmas.
Must find colour name on Avon website and order asap.
Gone for a slightly more casual look , no extra lashes tonight.
Still looking my beautiful bombshell self in a marlin meets Blondie kind of way.
Update later.
Rethinking of cheesyball crawling up hotel corridor, visions of my past life clubbing come back to haunt me:rotfl:
