massive working tax credit drop in april ?

just did an update with RMHC because I got a payrise?(21 pence an hour ) got a letter from them saying my Working Tax credit will stay the same at £86 but will be cut by £49 in april although lucky me CHILD TAX credit goes up £2.
does this sound right as still a misery to me how they calculate tax credits ?

yes 9k last year and will be 13k this year but will be 13k next year too0

It's worked out from last year. So it will be taking into account the 4k difference in wages.0
