I hope someone can help and advise us.

I hope someone can help and advise us.
My older PSP had developed a fault whereby the half the screen is working fine and the other half has corrupted-looks like shattered glass.

This was bought as used form our local cash Converters and 2 months warranty came with it..

we tried to get an exchange done as there is 2 months warranty left but they refused as they said the reason it had a damaged screen was because it had been dropped...my son insists that it was not the case as he's always been very careful with it.
Now I know that kids can tell porkies but I trust my son,so can anyone advise on how best to proceed with this..?

Many thanks as usual
Pete

When on is the corrupted look you say looks like shattered glass (bad phrase)
    changing or is it static.

Trying to gauge from your description whether if looks like the display is damaged or the unit is send a corrupt signal to the display.

    Ahh right.
One side of the display is perfectly ok.Then theres a line.On the other side of the screen it looks as if its a shattered window-all 'spidery' like a point in the middle and jagged lines coming ou from that point? .. it is static but changes if you apply pressure around the area on the screen..

Sorry to be so vague but thanks for the ongoing help

The same thing happened to us but our PSP was out of warranty so we paid 65 quid for a new one.

Ring them and see what they say!
