Yes £1200 (is an estimate) for 2 and a total of £1500 depends how long you plan to stay, and dont forget your food, drinking and most important....gambling budget0 -

LOl its good to be upbeat about winning....not many do though:eek:
3 nights in Vegas isnt long enough and also isnt cost effective when you consider the biggest percentage of cost is the flight.
4 nights is the very minimum IMO. the first day there you will struggle with jet lag0 -
Try https://www.kayak.co.uk or Skyscanner to get an idea of flights.
Virgin and Thomas Cook go non-stop from MAN, but it will be cheaper to connect in the US.
You will need to apply for an ESTA at $14 each and make sure your passports are current.0 -

There is no way I would spend all that money and go all the way for 3 or 4 days. It would have to be a week absolute minimum for me. Your flights are by far the biggest expense. I really would think about making it worth your while and staying an extra few days which would probably only cost you a £200 more which isn't much compared to the £1200+ you will have to spend on flights.0 -
US Airways have flights for around £640 each stopping in Philapdelphia. As another poster said have a play with Kayak/Skyscanner.
Hotels in Vegas are dirt cheap you won't have a problem with that. It's also as expensive or as cheap as you make it when you are there.0 -

We are travelling to Vegas for a wedding this June and looking for cheap flights. Wedding is 10th and only looking for a short break 3 or 4 nights ish but flexible on dates around this. We don't go on hols much so not sure how to go about finding the best prices, any tips please? Should we wait longer or would that be unwise? Would it be best to get a package with a hotel?
Thanks
Depart: Sat 8/6 Return: Mon 10/6 (Trip spans 4 days)
£440
British Airways
DUBLIN 08:40 LAS VEGAS 15:05 14h 25m 1 stop (LGW)
LAS VEGAS 21:15 DUBLIN 18:10 12h 55m 1 stop (LHR)
Depart: Sat 8/6 Return: Tue 11/6 +1 day (Trip spans 5 days)
£533
KLM Royal Dutch
DUBLIN 11:20 LAS VEGAS 23:31 20h 11m 1 stop (JFK)
LAS VEGAS 14:00 MANCHESTER 12:50 14h 50m 2 stops (DTW…)
I know the first departs from Dublin...but thought of a cheap flight across and maybe hotel stay...depends on your budget...second one arrives in Manchester from Las Vegas and is a later departure from Dublin so no overnight stay, but more expensive.
Enjoy:)0 -

Thanks everyone for you tips so far.
There are a number of reasons we can only go for 3 or 4 nights but otherwise I would agree.0 -

It would be very risky to arrive in Dublin on the same day as an 11.20 flight. The slightest delay and you will be too late - that could be a very costly mistake.0
