Avoid Home Bargains broken biscuits. My husband bought them as a bit of fun as he remembered them as a child but be warned they are a total waste of money. I think the box was about £2 but frankly you'd better off buying four packets of 30p biscuits and sitting on them. The box consisted of the absolute cheapest biscuits possible (smashed up nice, bourbon etc). So definitely avoid as the contents represent extremely poor value for money.
I can recommend Farmfoods broken biscuits, both the chocolate and non chocolate boxes. So far I've always had Fox's biscuits - crunch creams, finger creams, Rocky etc
I can also recommend HB bag of broken choc fingers (79p?) - hardly any were broken and I think they're CadburysWell if they're not, they taste good to me! Too good - they lasted about 5 seconds
Bargains to be had today include: "Sprinkle Sparkle" (brand) edible glitter (for cake decorating) 59p - colours include pink, purple (lilac colour) and green. This is more like the lustre dust, but they do have other assorted pearls/sprinkles/glitter (called edible sand) for similar prices.
My HB have also started to sell spuds! 2kg bag of washed spuds (Harmony variety) for 55p.
Kia Ora 2 litre squash for 99p - both orange and mixed fruit flavours. (Also on offer at Asda for £1 at the mo)
I didn't notice the prices, but they also had an assortment of very pretty wedding consumables - napkins, table decorations, bubbles in a crystal type container etc. (Just in case anyone's on the hunt)

Totally agree about the boxes of Farmfood biccies. Only tried the choc ones, but they've been top notch, with a good mixture of milk and plain chocolate.0

That's awful, imagine if you had small children with you. I think I'd be inclined to contact the store manager or head office and complain. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
I was hoping to catch a manager but there wasn't one in sight. I've emailed the store regarding the situation, i had the same thought when i saw small children in the store! I feel sorry for the people who try their best to keep their children away from the foul language to go into your local store and be greeted by it!
Anyway other than that i bought some lovely little blank keyrings for 69p!0 -
Viners 4 piece kids cutlery set for £1.99.
Robot, tea set, teddy bear and dinosaur.
Very good quality. Will make a great gift.0
