  • Thanks for the new thread RedFox =)
  • We've been doing a bit of gardening & have just got round to putting the solar heart lights on the fence.

I didn't realise it but they flash too! They have had hardly any sun on them & currently have the decking nicely lit. Will definitely be getting more if they still have them. :D (£4.99)
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

I picked up this mug in the Port Talbot store for 99p. I also got a grey one with a squirrel on it :) They're only small mugs but very cute and dishwasher safe too.

Garden trellis, 2ft x6ft, £6.99. Sturdier than Wilko's and much cheaper than garden centres. Also the fan-shaped ones.

Bought a really lovely wooden heart shaped wall clock for £2.99, it say's kitchen wall clock on the box but it went with my decor in the living room so hung it up on the wall.
24 hrs later my daughter begged me to take it down as it was ticking so loudly, I'd hoped we would get used to it but the ticking was annoying me too.
    Booo!!!

What a shame. Have you thought of trying to muffle the noisy bit? Maybe you can find some way of using it away from the main living area? (I've got a clock in my shed!:o):)
Sorry, sometimes my mse bit just takes over....

Thankyou, will have a fiddle with it, I don't suppose the mechanism is likely to overheat so might be worth trying to muffle it somehow, it was disappointing as I'd been looking for 1 for a while (there is a fine line between shabby chic & grotty it seems:rotfl:)

Got some more of those huge vintage style storage bags yesterday £1.79.

From the West Bromwich shop - where I got my last ones.

These are beige with red roses on they also had blue and green ones.

They don't seem to have them in all stores.
