My local HB had the Kleenex wipes (plastic packet), eye make up remover wipes and shine control sheets for 69p each (didn't notice the facial cloths).

According to the SEL, they are a one off item. With the exception of the facial cloths, they all retail at £2.99 so this is a huge saving.

I got some of these last week and why oh why didn't I stock up! Went in this week for some more and there they were all gone! So it's back to good old Whitworths, which they always seem to have in stock.

I got some Maryland red berry flavour biscuits for 25p a packet but glad I didn't get more. Nothing special at all. Their choc chip cookies are so much nicer!

  • In the stationery aisle I found some boxed Sheaffer ballpoint pens. They were £1.99 and the SEL said the RRP was £17.99. I have done a quick search and they look like these ones on Amazon
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sheaffer-Series-Ballpoint-Brushed-Chrome/dp/B001O3GRFE/ref=sr_1_21?s=officeproduct&ie=UTF8&qid=1361803926&sr=1-21

They aren't easy to find - I just came across them as I was having a good hunt around! The pens in the plastic cases come in a black cardboard box to protect them so you need to look for a plain black box. Hope that makes sense!
