They do now have some of the Roses in stock £1.49. I've been really successful with these in the past. You always feel like you are planting a dead stick, but it's amazing when they spring into live. Got a goregous Orange Rose Bush.:p

I got three climbing roses from Poundland last year (Can't remember what month) but I'm sure they'll have them again this year. I noticed the christmas aisle is now back to the garden aisle so possibly have some around now. There was a few different colours to choose from including red, white and yellow. Only one of mine has grew though, not flowered as of yet.

Has anyone seen the Highlights jars anywhere? Haven't seen them for ages in HB, some pound shops were selling them but can't track them down anymore....
Desperate - have it everynight so sachets bit expensive
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
  • I did notice a sign for the jars but none in, maybe keep looking?

I was searching for something but don't know what it's called, the staff seemed to know what it was but said none in stock yet a friend said they had some last week.

It's in the craft section, black paper pictures that you 'scratch' images out of & colour comes through the black - does anyone know what I mean?

I used to do those when I was a kid. Think we called them scraper foils. Vaguely remember seeing them in The Works in recent years.

Hubby got it in his head that we needed a new doormat for outside. Saw a few in Ikea he liked, but we decided to check HB first. Got 2 nice ones in there for £3.49 each instead of the £8 each that DH would've paid out in Ikea. One was a kind of union jack (ish) design & the other says 'home sweet home'. In the Edmonton branch.
They also had the Banksy keyring mentioned ages ago. At least three different designs for 49p each.

  • Found in my local North West store yesterday:

Dream Town Sofa with Coco Kitten £8.99 (like this one)
    http://www.tesco.com/direct/dream-town-puppy-lane-cottage-sofa-coco-the-kitten/208-1673.prd

And the kitchen set £12.99 (still available on HB site)
    ahttp://www.homebargains.co.uk/products/408-dream-town-kitchen-set.aspx

I bought both, have to say I don't rate the sofa, seems poorly made and likely to pop soon with a boisterous 2 year old playing on it - the kitchen set is nice though, my little girl has been playing with it lots. Can't believe the original RRP of this stuff, scandalous!!
