Transferring from esa cb wra to support group

Hi,
I really hope someone can help me with the esa system. I was given esa cb in may 2011, wra group. It was my first time claiming benefits and I failed to appeal. As the 12 month rule applies my benefit payments were discontinued in may 2012. They did, however, continue paying my stamp so the claim was ongoing. In September 2012 I was asked to attend a medical so they could continue paying my stamp. The outcome of this, I learned last week, was I had been placed in the support group!
This is where I am confused. After many phi e calls last week a manager eventually rang me to say I had been placed in the support group for three years, contributory based because in was an ongoing claim, my entitlement hadn't stopped, just the money.
Apparently if the claim is ongoing I can still qualify for cb esa.
This morning, however, I received a esa 1 firm fir a new claim. When i rang to complete it in the phone, the operator said as it was an ongoing claim I didn't need to do this.
She wasn't sure if I had to compete any form at all as I had already been out into the support group.
I have had no payments from esa since may last year, I have however been awarded dal high award on both care and mobility due to my illness.
I am waiting for another phone call now and it would help if I knew beforehand what form, if any, I need to complete.
I am at my wits end with all this.
Regards
Sb

Assuming your claim has been contributory based, and has continued since may 2011.

You are entitled to payment of the support group payment, paid from shortly after Sep 12, when the decision was made.
Request a callback from a decisionmaker, or question the one you get a call from.
You may also get additional premiums due to the DLA award, from the date of that award.
