Bankruptcy

Hi I am very new to this and was wondering if anyone could help.. My mum was made bankrupt last march it's taken till November to sell her property. She will b cleared apparently in march this year.. BUT as a massive result to her bankruptcy her bank took £35.000.00 in bank charges and interest in 18months, (along with other minor debts) spoke to the trustees this morning and she will not receive a penny as the bank have taken another £10.000.00 in charges from last march to sept.. Although we have never received bank statements for this adjustment. My mum is 63 and could do without all of this.. my questions are as follows: 1) if you are made bankrupt do your accounts gets frozen?? I.e no other added interest and charges can b incurred???
2) in march can we claim back her charges and interest??

3) is it right we haven't had any documentation of these added monies??

Thank you to anyone who can help me out xx
