That sell six year old cars that leak, but have probably leaked since they were 6 months old...

Again, I don't know the company at all, but can almost guarantee that you are out of order.

Read the reviews on line..... It shows I am not out of order at all.

they also paid up "in the end" that says a lot, my advice came from Local trading standards. We followed their advice to the letter. Maybe there is some justification in pursuing it. thanks for your comments ;)

Don't know if it helps, pretty late now, but OH has a 206cc which I assume you have. She had a weep in the seal on the roof. She was recommended to use 3in1 silicone lubricant spray. Seems to have fixed hers for the last 9 moths so far. Hope this is of help as its worth a shot.

Hi there thanks for that. We subsequently found out that's what the dealer used and said it was fixed. We use silicone on all seals to keep them supple and form a protection. The problem was a seal needed replacing, The main costings was labour not parts, so the dealer could have fixed it, he actually tried to get AA to pay for it as the car came with a 3 month AA Gold Warranty. We had already asked them, and water ingress wasn't included, so when the dealer asked that they paid as a good will gesture AA sent them away with a flea in their ear for trying to cheat with the warranty ;-)
