Modernising a house i bought, and want to box the waste and pipe work in, in the bathroom. I need some L shaped pipe boxing, preferably pvc? 4x5inch give or take. I cant seem to find much about it online, and ones i have seen are like £20 - 50 for a few metres! Surely there is a cheaper alternative.... delivery charges are extortionate aswell (around £20 for the "cheaper" boxing sites!!!)
any ideas will be grateful
cheers

Box them in with timber, plywood or similar and gloss paint it is going to be the cheapest option.
If you really want PVC have a look at sites supply double glazing, failing that buy it from a builders merchants, (not a diy shed) you will save on delivery if nothing else0 -
Try the window/upvc suppliers
Only comes in 5m lengths but try using flat facia board for the front and an L shape soffit board for the top
A bit of timber bearer to fix it to, with white screws and caps, cheap, neat and the bees knees
Used it many times in bathrooms and shower areas, maintenence free and easy clean as well0 -

nice one for that, i found a 5m length of 6inch pvc fascia board, for £12.95... with a site that does free delivery with no minimum spend! saved me a small fortune
