Advice on cheap tablet pc...are they fine for streaming videos?

Options
Im looking to buy a tablet as a present for somebody. The two purposes of this tablet will be to stream videos via wifi and occasional browsing- pretty much no other functions will be used such as games, other apps, etc will be used. Having limited knowledge I need someone to tell me whether the cheaper ones will fulfil this purpose (without stalling, etc). The cheapest 9 inch (needs to be a decent size screen) i found is the Capacitive A13 (which seems to have sold in its thousands) at around at £80. Would this stream videos ok, e.g. decent screen, without stalling? Does anyone have one and is it ok? Struggling with mixed reviews on it, as well as lack of reviews on the streaming quality. Or any other suggestions?
Im keeping this tight budget on a tablet because the person receiving this will also get a laptop in a few months time (which will have a significantly higher budget). :)

Thanks in advance

The likely biggest factors in STREAMING videos will be the quality of the wifi network the tablet is connected to, and the throughput speed of the internet connection.

Or do you mean PLAYING videos that are stored on the device?

And what sort (quality/size) of videos are you talking about?
