Advice quick

Hi,

Need some advice quickly before i post a letter!

Bit of background -

I live in a maisonette. Guy below me (lets call him Fred) plays his music and his telly so loud i can hear every single word, he seems to like to do it at around 3am and 6.30 am

Tried knocking again and again but he doesnt answer. Left a note in the middle of the night a few weeks back when it was so bad i had to go and sleep at a family house  left my number on it, Fred text to say sorry it wont happen again...which it has

Anyway, i'm writing to my Landlord. I'm assuming my Landlord will send the letter to Fred's landlord? If so....does Fred have any right to see the letter?

Thanks my lovlies :) xxxx

I'd call the police and get a noise abatement order sorted out.

Poor old thing Bendy. I know what its like. I have lived on the first floor of a house for the past 7 years so I have neighbours, below me and either side. I just try to have a good relationship with them and if the noise gets too much, I mention it as politely as possible but firmly. It usually does the trick but I know its not the same for everyone. He seems like an ok guy as he didn't get narky last time you sent him a note, can you have another word with him?

He sent the text once he had sobered up. My boyfriend said when he tried to talk to him he just stood there with a blank face and didnt say a word.

Hmmm, think i should ask to get this moved to the Renting/buying board?
