Hello guys,
I this phone as a pay-as-you-go phone and use it with my Tmobile.
i unlocked the phone but cannot use the internet.
The internet connection has to be changed/ammended for the new network and this cannot be ammended.
Someone suggested a debranding software.
How true?
What can i do?

You need to enter the settings manually for the new network.(do you have these? If not what network are you trying to use)
Tap the Menu key
Tap New APN
Enter settings
Save0 -

Its giffgaff
I have gone to the settings. There are 2 defaults on the phone which is 02 PAYG and 02 pay monthly.
I cannot just delete/ammend this.0 -
Many branded phones like this one use Operator specific versions of the operating systems that are locked down to prevent what you're are trying to do.
It may be possible to debrand it but I have no idea how to go about it or if it's even worth trying, you may well brick the phone trying making it completely useless.
Have you tried the O2 settings to see if they work, unlikely, but giffgaff uses the O2 network? One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

It might not work if the OS is locked down to prevent the APN settings from being changed. Reading some of the reviews, the 1* ones, seems to indicate on some phones it does nothing but it has to be worth a try.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Apparently this 'phone is actually a Huawei U8180 loaded with Froyo. Would 'rooting' it be likely to solve the problem if the app doesn't work?0
