By far the easiest way is to use the Docklands Light Railway to Canning Town then change onto the Jubilee line for Wembley Park (which is close to the stadium and arena).
TIP: When returning to Wembley Park there will be massive queues for Southbound trains. So get a Northbound one for one stop and come back on yourself from there. You'll even get a seat
