Hi gang
I have a 16gb Nexus 7 and so I would like to use a usb 3.0 flash drive via a OTG cable so I can listen to my music collection.
Is it worth the extra for a 3.0 USB and is there a version of the OTG which will accept 3.0 USB drives?
Thanks

It'll work - it just won't be quite as fast.0

Why not store it all on the cloud?

I will be listening to music on the train to & from work and thus won't have wifi access.0

For music a USB 1 drive would be plenty fast enough playing.
The only advantage you'll see from a USB3 drive over USB2 is the amount of time it will take to store the data on in from your PC assuming that has a USB3 port. The difference probably won't be great though.0
