Peter Rabbit Organics pear juice drink with no added sugar in 125ml tetrapack cartons on offer Sainsbury's were 56p now 37p to 15/01/13. I buy these for my husband to have at work.
Heinz baby juice pear with spring water - no added sugar, gluten, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives 750ml was 1.67 now 1.11 to 15/01/13 Sainsbury's
Daylesford organic pear juice 1LTR on offer at Ocado was 3.99 each now buy 3 for £10 to 23/01/13. Also in 250ml size 1.79, Ocado.
Granini pear juice nectar made with concentrate and puree 1 LTR 2.49 Ocado, also seen in Waitrose.
Might be cheaper to buy a juice and juice fresh or tinned pears ?0 -

I'm going to see about that baby juice, a lot of people has said about that.0 -
I agree with blueybug Morrisons. My local branch sells it where it is located in the fruit juice aisle, it is not a refrigerated product so don't look in the chiller cabinets for it.0

This won't help with finding some to try initally to see if you can tolerate pear juice but if it turns out you can then you can buy it the the case from these companies, unfortunately its not very cheap though.

Amazon have some pear juice on their grocery section but it is not particularly cheap and again it is cases rather than single packs.
Thinking outside the box slightly.... As most pear juice is made from concentrate the cheapest way to buy it would be to get hold of the concentrate & dilute it yourself. The Magnum pear cider homebrew kits are made up of a 1.7kg tin of 100% pear juice concentrate & a sachet of yeast if you were to buy one of those that would give you enough concentrate to make about 23 litres of pear juice. The concentrate you don't use straight away could be frozen in ice cube trays so you can just get a bit out as and when you need it. This could work out at around 69p per litre.

I've been looking for pear juice to brew perry out of.
There's actually a fair bit about if you Google, but it tends to be stupidly expensive, and often not pure pear.
I've made a good perry from the Meridian concentrate (Holland&Barrett some branches, wholefood shops will carry it or order it, may now be branded as Rock's)
However - I just spotted that Heinz do one, they hide it in the babyfood section (of Tesco, if nowhere else). It has a hint of lemon juice and some other anti-oxidant, don't know if that'll affect your IC.
(I brew cider etc for my wife who is Coeliac)
Brewing the Lidl pear nectar wasn't very successful - too much pulp0 -
If using cartons/bottles of juice for brewing rather than pressing your own then make a point of checking the ingredients and avoid anything containing potassium sorbate as it will cause a stuck fermentation (it kills the yeast).I've been looking for pear juice to brew perry out of.0 -
I saw some pear juice in my local scottish tesco today the brand was granini it was in with the polish foods if that's any help I think it was £2 for quite a big bottleI pray for patience as strength might just get me in trouble !!!!0

Not sure where you live of course, but here in Kent we have lots of orchards and consequently lots of farm shops selling pear (and apple) juice. Might be worth trying your local farm shop or farmers' market - if you have one.0

Lidl do an excellent Pear "nectar" - for a hell of a lot less than the health food shops round here that used to be the only place you could get a reliable stock. Although it may be somewhat seasonal as it does vanish from time to time but unopened packs keep for ages, so you can stockpile.
Sorry for your condition - because for a nice drink, try floating a healthy shot of white rum on top of it, its quite thick!
