DLA looks like being approved but I'm still being pessimistic

Reapplied for DLA late last year (November). My current DLA is due to run out end of February this year. My wife as just phoned DLA to chase it up and the lady on the phone says it looks like it's been passed and is going to be indefinitely meaning I won't have to reapply every three years. Which is fantastic.
Now the pessimistic part. The lady told my wife that it as just gone to the final stages where they obviously finalise things. Am I being pessimistic in thinking they could relook at the case in the final stages and refuse it or will the finalisation be to cross the T's and dot the I's?
I suppose if it as gotten this far and it's been approved then the likelihood of it being refused will probably be small but I still worry.
I understand about PIP coming into force next few years which of course I'll come to that when I'm applying again. But if the lady on the phone told us that it was showing on there system it looked like it had been approved and it's to go to finalisation do I risk looking around for new car?

Maybe she meant finalisation in the way that it was going to the finance part to sort out getting it into your bank etc, and to send out your award notice.
Look on the positive side instead of worrying yourself silly0 -

Well I'm hoping that's the case. I can't see the person on the phone giving my wife the wrong information. She asked her two times if what she'd told her was correct that it looked like it had been passed. I suppose I can't see it getting this far and the finalisation not approving it. fingers crossed. It's just been nerve wrecking thinking do we look at new cars now or would we be tempting fate.0
