Made redundant last May, still not been payed owed wages

Options
Hi, I was made redundant last May when the company I was working for went into administration unexpectedly. We were given no notice, just told to attend a meeting in the middle of May as there were rumors of things going on, no one expected it to turn out the way it did. We were told in the meeting that from that moment the company was in administration and that we were no longer employed by them, there was about 130 of us. We were all given a letter, which basically said go sign on or you could loose money and a termination of the contract. I was sent a form to fill out to claim back the two ish weeks of pay I was owed, i think it was the 18th and we normally got payed on the last day of the month. I filled it out after much stress of trying to work everything out and sent it off within the time frame they stated. Ive since heard nothing about it, I've had letters from the administration company about what they're doing and meetings etc for creditors, but as far as I was concerned I am not a creditor and that the form I sent off would be enough to claim back my earnings. I've not even received a letter to say they had received it.
Ive not been in work since and I'm now struggling to live on ESA due to a knee condition along with other things. Due to various mess ups with my benefit and spending months trying to get it all sorted out I had forgotten about my owed wages.
I can't find out how to contact anyone about whats going on and I dont know who it is that's supposed to be sorting it, is it the administrator or the government? I was told by my then employer that the government would sort it and that's what the form was for.
It's a few hundred pounds and to some that's not a lot of money, but I'm struggling through on £71 a week and that money would mean a lot to me.
Any help will be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

You would have sent the form (RP1) back to the Administrators so you need to confirm with them 1) they received your completed form, 2) that they forwarded it on to the Redundancy Payments Directorate of The Insolvency Service.

If that has been done then you need to try to speak to The Insolvency Service, telephone number 0330 331 0020. Be prepared for a long wait and don't use your mobile.
