I placed our recently refurbished house on the market 7 or 8 weeks ago, we have not had 1 viewing?

It is reasonably priced for the area, or at least I think it is.
Everything in this house is new, and I mean everything!
What am I doing wrong.
The local agent seems to be advertising it, newspaper, window, rightmove etc.
Thanks for any assistance

Ever heard of Crown or Dulux?
The vendor could put colour in the house and then have gloips coming round saying 'I don't like the blue or I don't like the brown.' The house looks gorgeous as it is. Hang in there OP I'm sure the first ones who view will offer.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1) your agent should have people on thier waiting lists for a property like this- have they been phoned & drummed up for viewings- IF NOT WHY NOT
2) get a mate to call the EAs say they are looking for a house in your area. see if your EA is enthusiastic, trys to get your mate roud to see it. IF NOT WHY NOT
Id say 8 weeks on the market with no viewings is a problem with your estate agent.
How is the market around there- has anyone else got any knowledge of nuneaton?
I think your house is lovelyand someone is sure to snap it up.
One thought I have is why dont you go dual agency with housenetwork - this will involve doing the viewings yourself tho for HN. going dual agency is one way of getting the Eas to really push your place as they compete for the business. I also think that the housenetwork photos are superior to almost all in the industry. have a look https://www.housenetwork.com:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks for that, I will give the Estate Agent a call later today, I thought they would sell it easily, well at least relatively easily.
I also expected some viewings, and that they must have people on their books looking for a nice, ready to move in house, with no chain.
Perhaps I will send a "buyer" to the local office first and see what the response is.0 -
I agree, I think the house looks lovely.
I suspect the problem is with the EA's and their client list.
Speak to some different agents and see if you can get a deal on dual agency....0 -
Looks perfect for a starter (if they can afford it) OR a couple extending their family.
Sometimes a house can be too perfect I guess? I'd also imagine potential buyers are just beginning to get itchy feet with regards higher interest rates and maybe a slight correction in property prices.
How have other properties gone in your area?0 -
If it was in my area i would buy it!0
