Quick tax credit question

Hi,
Was wondering if someone could answer this quick tax credit question.
They based my tax credits on this years estimated income 2012-2013 because of being on maternity leave and going part time however I've under estimated and I will probaly get about £1500 more this tax year due to working nights and more weekends then planned. Do I need to let them know? I don't want to end up with a massive overpayment because we rely on it for the childcare element.
Any advice would be great.
Thank you.

You don't have to let them know yet, but you will have an overpayment (assuming your 2011/12 income was a lot higher). Probably about £615.BeckyK1010 wrote: »Hi,

You can reduce the overpayment you'll end up with if you tell them now, and they'll reduce your tax credits for the rest of the year.0
