Mailing perfume UK to USA

Hi everyone, hoping you might be able to answer a question for me. I am selling some rare perfume on ebay, and I have had an enquiry from someone in america. Basically, it is a small amount, less than 100g, but because its ebay I need to get it there for def within a month and it needs to be signed for. So I was thinking airsure, but is the fact its perfume gonna cause any issues. I did some googling and it seems very mixed messages, some people saing its ok if its a small amount, some saying its not ok at all.

I have emailed royal mail and am waiting for a response, but has anyone had experience with this previously?

RM will not take some items. I was given a leaflet at the PO yesterday as regulations for international mail are being tightened up from 14 January.

Perfumes and aftershaves are specifically mentioned as not being accepted.

yep from the 14th of January all post office staff have to ask what's inside any international packets. Perfume and aftershave isn't permitted at all...
