Lloyds Loan mis-sold?
Comments
-
PPI sold with finance products usually did not cover self-employed people.
In fact that is one of the reasons people have been able to claim it was missold, because it wouldn't have paid out if they had tried to make a claim.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Tixy, that was my understanding at the time.
Maybe the rules have changed then?0 -
My God, I thought my daughter was easy to wind up when she was about four, but this ChickusDickus has her beaten all ways up."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

The advisor was correct to say this, as PPI is rarely of any use to self employed people. In fact if he had solde it to you then you would have had a good shout for a refund on the PPI.Attempting the grasp the first rung of the property ladder:
DIP Agreed : 03/03/13, Full Application Submitted : 09/03/13, Valuation Satisfactory : 25/03/13, Formal Mortgage Offer : 25/03/13, Completion: 03/06/130 -
I swore to myself I wouldn't post on this (it's been a bloody good read though, and Chickusdickus is holding their own very well I must say
) but I have to ask;
How did you find out they terminated the employees job "due to issues with his selling"? Surely that wasn't included in the [STRIKE]stolen[/STRIKE] legally obtained customer notes? Just curious, as I'd be amazed they'd openly admit that to a third party, even other employees are rarely informed as to the grounds of a colleague's dismissal.
And this must be a first, a PPI miss-selling claim as they were told not to take it out (albeit correctly!).0 -
Poppa smurf, My partner and I are sitting in grinning head shaking dis belief. If it's a wind up, then hands up, you got me. But i don't think it's as simple as that.
Dabooka, welcome to the funny pages
This isn't a PPi dispute however. Admittedly, there may have been a bit of creative guess work regarding his reason for employment ending, suffice it to say, my instinct based on the return letter suggest he was 'let go'. I also called into the branch where he worked and was told he no longer worked for Lloyds.0 -
lol, is this still going??

I know it's not a PPI thread, but you did bring it in to the fold!
That kind of creativeness is the sort of stuff that pi$$es the board off, especially when presented as fact....
