I'm not sure how legit this ebay sale is as it's a new seller and advertised as outside the UK but it's covered by Paypal so I've taken the risk, payment hasn't cleared yet but fingers crossed!

Don't buy Calpol - buy the unbranded generic equivalent as it is much cheaper - it only lasts 2 months before you have to throw it out anyhow. I also found sachets of infant paracetamol in the pound shop - as they were individually wrapped it meant that they had a much longer shelf life.
If you are in Scotland make sure to sign up for the minor ailments scheme at any chemist and you get all calpol, infant neurogenic and teething gel for free :T0 -

I couldn't agree more! I love my travel system (carry cot is used for daytime naps), baby monitor (spend more than 30 second in the shower without rushing out just incase baby is crying), "emergency" formula in case breastfeeding didn't work out (prem baby lost too much weight after nearly a week of ebf) - we needed to top up with formula and whilst there are plenty of 24 hour shops not having to go and get it on our release from hospital was a godsend, we had enough going on (also we've been successfuly mix feeding since and now only give a few ounces of formula a day 10 weeks in so formula does not have to signal the end of breastfeeding).
Good luck!0 -

Tesco currently have an awesome baby event - might be great for you to think about stocking up before the arrival of your little one! How exciting :-) I've picked up loads of wipes, they've changed all their branding and prices seem really reasonable. Worth checking out and getting prepared! When are you due? Z0
