There's a Baby Show at the Excel Centre in London this weekend and can get discounted tickets via Mothercare at £11.50 each (with additional £2 transaction fee!)
Has anyone gone to one of these? Is it worth hubby and me going?
We have a 6 month old and the only thing we really still need is a cot. Right now our baby sleeps in a bedside crib. Would like to upgrade to a bedside cot but having trouble finding one... Was going to make a trip to Ikea to see if they have anything suitable as can't find anything online in the other usual places.
Also really love the Stokke Sleepi and considering that but downside is that I won't be able to have 1 side down and use that as a bedside cot!0 -

Mothercare do one, there's 15% off with a code that's on the item page until tomorrow.

I can highly recommend the stokke SleepiOur little boy is 8 days old & we're currently using it next to our bed at the mini size instead of a moses basket, love it to bits!

Hey guys, I had been looking for a chair for the nursery for middle of the night feeds but wasn't really sure what I wanted. So anyway I went to Home Bargains today and saw a chair! It's kinda like the nursing chairs on the baby websites except without the footstool and half the price. So I got one, it was really comfy, kinda low but it does rock. It's plainer than I had planned on getting but going to put a nice patchwork throw over.

Might be easier getting one of these if your not that DIY handy

the way ikea cots are put together, the mattress base is simply bolts slipped into holes in the end. U can just drill new holes at the level you want the mattress to sit so it matches up with the height of your bed. We nearly did that with our cot for DD and would of been really easy.0 -
Thank you all! Mothercare have 20% off all cots right now so am considering either that or the Ikea option! Need to make a decision fast though!0
