To go with the previous comment, i have this travel system/pushchair and think it's great!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Petite-Star-Pushchair-Including-Footmuff/dp/B004EWGGDU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1359494361&sr=8-3I got this to replace my Silvercross 3D (Please steer clear of it!) but was only limited to a handful of pushchairs on the mothercare website. I bought it without seeing it in any shops and went solely on reviews and it's amazing.
It faces forward or rear, has 3 positions, has an extendable hood (which is great with all the dodgey weather lately) and takes about 2 minutes to put up! The wheels come off in seconds to fit easily into a car boot, it has suspension on the front wheels and isn't as wide at the MY4 which i also had on loan. It's a great multi-purpose pushchair which will see my son through until he's walking on his own
Sorry for going on, but they are lovely prams and they would be a great bargain with the Amazon Family offerHTH someone!

If you are looking at petite star systems try the reworked section on the nursery value website. Generally they are catalogue returns etc, we bought a re worked zia for £60 as a pushchair for grandma's house and it is fab. Still going strong 2 years later, been on holidays etc. Petite star are the manufacturers who make some john Lewis pushchairs and all of the babies r us bruin range.

I'm looking for a pushchair to replace my Silver Cross Pop (AVOID AVOID AVOID!) for my now 2 year old. Haven't heard of Petite star so will take a look at their website, thanks.
Agree with you vic.star about the Silver Cross 3D - had one when DD was born until she was 11 months when OH somehow broke it! Rubbish pushchair, would not recommend that one either."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

I had the Petit Star Zia that I bought in Boots, unfortunately the stitching came away on the seat unit which made it unsafe. Boots took it back but they no longer do the Petit Star Zia. I am now looking for a replacement. I would say they are a great size, very compact and large seat area for older children. I have several prams and must admitt I was very impressed with this pram. It is just a shame that it was faulty. The brake was also very stiff and did not always engage!0

I have a Petit Star Zia and like it on the whole - nice colur and style BUT the suspension is a bit dodgy, buggy leans to one side a lot - my girl is 14 months old so think it would be unmanageable with an older child.
we got it a year ago from toys r us when they had various offers on, it was £60 instead of £160. it is well worth a £100 or so but not much more x2011 biggies: £1000 holiday,£100 all saints voucher, £200 ticketmaster, Links London bracelet, Ted Baker watch, £50 Oliver Bonas
2011 aim - win enough to save up for baby items!
2009 wins total £2623 inc break in Iceland!
2010 wins total £6430 inc break in Dubai!0 -
I love petite star. I had a zia 3 wheeled from boots i got in the 70% sale instore i couldn't believe it! It was good but as my ds1 got older it did tip to one side so with ds2 we bought a zia 4 wheel when he was older and that is much better, he still goes in it around the shops now and he is 3. But when he was a baby we bought the petite star kurvi which i also love but is a bigger model as it's a travel system. Both were reworked from here they were bargains and i couldn't fault them at all.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0

Ladies who have used petit star pushchairs - any specific one you would recommend? I'm looking at their clearance section on their website. My DD (just turned 2) is small for her age, weighs about 13kg, I do a fair bit of walking - 3 miles a day to and from nursery so need something that can handle a fair amount of regular usage. Don't want to spend mega bucks. Any specific model to look at?"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0

I have the Kurvi Match (sorry i wasn't clear in my comment), but it's a travel system. It can be used as a pushchair although you might find something cheaper. I recommend looking on Amazon at reviews of the models you like, or look for reviews of one you've seen on the clearance site? But i do have to say i use mine about 5 times a week minimum and i have to go up and down a hill into town and through an alleyway with more pot holes than the moon! Still going strong 6 months on0
