Will we get child benefit?

Just after some advice as Im confused over the new child benefit rules.

We do not claim it at the moment as our first child isnt due for another 7 weeks.

My partners basic salary is about 43000 however with bonuses it comes to about 53000 which is reflected in his p60s for the past few years. I earn nothing as Ive just finished university and unemployed.

Will we still receive anything if he earns over 50,000?

Thanks

Yes but no the whole £20 a week (don't spend it all at once!).

If he has a pension this is discounted as per his P60.

Do you know if he pays into a pension as it may not concern you.

Once LO is here and you use childcare vouchers this is also offsetted against his P60 salary figure.
