New Years Eve 2013 - London hotel

Hi all, I would like to book a hotel room for New Years this December. I thought by getting in early I might find a bargain, as we always leave it too late!

We want to go and watch the fireworks near Houses of Parliament, as my husband proposed there 10 years ago, and would ideally like to stay within a mile walk.

I'm struggling to see any room under £100, (double room, 2 people)
Anyone got any ideas, or am I too early? I just don't want to forget and leave it too late again!

Travelodge release rooms 325 days in advance, so it might be worth waiting till mid-February and checking there.... The waterloo, southwark and covent Garden ones would be the nearest

I would wait for travelodge but £100 NYE London seems like a deal to me!
