MCOL Help please!

sorry if this has been asked ( i know it has!)

i just need confirmation of a few things as im filling in mcol form now.

My charges are £2459.19
8% Interest is £391.54

When working out my daily interest i got 0.54p .. is this ok? as in £2459.19 times .00022.

Also should i use the template posted in this thread by rex mundi or use the template letter saved in martins step by step guide?

One more thing I dont know when i opened my account !! does this date matter as it is required in rex mundis template.

Thanks guys

Your daily interest rate is correct.
Martin's template is too long I have heard, Rex Mundi's template works best for most.
The date you opened your account does not matter, just leave it out, but keep the account number in.

Ok I think im a little confused again!

If my interest daily rate is 0.54 does that mean every day until he claim is settled 54p is added to the total?

also it has occurred to me that should I work out all my charges on the statutory interest calculator again as the last time I did was when I sent the letter to Halifax which was over a month ago and now the interest will be higher and on MCOL I need to put the amount claim to date.

So confused!! What shall I do?

Yes, do the calculations again on the interest calculator, it will give you a higher interest than a month ago.
