Hotmail server error?

Hi

Having problems accessing one of my hotmail accounts tonight, its coming up with the following error:


Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (my email) account.

Server Error: 0x80072EFF
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFF



Any ideas what the problem is/how it could be sorted?

How are you accessing the account - web or software based?

Ive tried via the internet and via windows live mail - on the internet it comes up service unavailable but the live mail comes up with the above error?

the odd thing is that I can access my other hotmail address absolutely fine?!

Are you using a Proxy?

Having Googled the error code it seems as it may just clear up itself.

-NINJA EDIT - Your other account maybe on a different server.

ah right, hopefully it will clear up itself - wouldnt have mattered as much if it was my other email address as I hardly ever use that one but this one is my main email address!

just managed to get in and then it booted me out as soon as I clicked on the inbox but then it took me to the page with the following:

Hotmail
There's a problem with Hotmail right now.
There's a problem with Hotmail right now.

Problem We're having a problem accessing email. You might not be able to see all your email messages. 08 Jan 18:18
Updates We're investigating the problem that some customers are experiencing. We'll provide an update by 08 Jan 22:20. 08 Jan 20:20
