viewings/time to offer

as there are a few threads on this already it would be handy to know for eveyone that had eve sold.

How many weeks was on the market before you had an offer
How many viewings did you have in the first month
How many viewings did you have before you sold it.

How long woud it be before you would consider reducing price

[There is no answer to this question ! some properties can sell in a day,
    others can take forever

How many viewings did you have in the first month

I once had 13 viewings on the one night but no takers, sold it 3 weeks later.

How many viewings did you have before you sold it.

Selling property is not a numbers game ! you could have a 1000 viewers but if your property is over priced for the market or not presented properly you may never sell it.

Look at similar properties in your area 'up for sale' it they sell quickly and yours does'ent then you may have to consider your options

stop worrying ! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,keep the coffee pot on.:D

We accepted an offer from the first viewer but it did stay on the market for a few weeks longer as we wanted to see what it would acheive, buyer was ok with this

well 1 i guess but we had quite a few afterwards and another which offered at full asking price which pushed our original buyer up to full asking as well as he had first refusal

How long would it be before you would consider reducing price
To be honest it depends on how desperate we were to sell at the time, if we had a place we wanted to buy then i would probably reduce it quicker than if we had a bit of time to spare in selling...guess i can't really comment honestly as weren't in that situation....
