Am I still entitled to housing benefit

I have been claiming incapacity benefit whilst doing permitted work (earning £364 per month) and have been to a ATOS assesment where they told me I got zero points for my bi polar dissorder. I was thinking keep my job and get help with the rent and council tax but have heard that recently they have changed eligibilty for housing benefit. If you are under 35 (im 32) you can only claim if you live in a bed sit or shared accomodation. I live in a self contained 1 bedroom flat where the rent is £68.50 per week. I will do anything to keep my home as I have live there 10 years. If it means all of my income goes on just paying the rent (council tax is still paid) then so be it.

Council or LA rental or private?0

is it social housing or a private let?
if a private let what is your shared accomodation LHA rate?0 -
Housing association, thanks for the quick reply0
-
LHA is £91.15 for 1 bedroom0
-
then you dont need to worry about the shared accomodation, as that only applies to private lets.
but your earnings will be taken into consideration0 -
The shared accomodation rate is 56.58, will i get all of that or do they take it off if i earn too much. that will only mean having to find £12 to cover all of my rent0
-
The shared rate does NOT affect you.
they will ask you to pay a proportion of your bill based on earnings0 -
try reading the posts above.
the LHA rate doesnt apply to you as you are a social housing tenant.
as you are in the correct sized property for your circumstances, you will be considered for your total rent. any earnings may affect the amount you receive0 -
So if i earn £69 per week (my contracted hours, usually earn more) will they pay all my rent as its less than JSA0

Yes it is only earnings over JSA that are used in the calculation. For weeks you earn more you take your payslip to the HB office and they issue a bill for the prior week, so when you do OT don't spend it all and keep some by for the bill.0
