First Direct... success and very generous

After reading the site info on bank charges I wrote to First Direct using the template letter asking for the princely sum of £56.53. I had a reply within 4 days saying they would respond within a further 10 days and sure enough 7 days later they wrote stating the bumf about "we told you our charges etc" but amazingly making an offer straight away.

:rotfl: Now here's the surprise they offered £290.... 5 times more than we asked for.:rotfl:
