hi my esa ib is currently under appeal after l failed medical in may 2012 been told still no decision to date [ l did not hear that l failed medical till sept] because my private pension is now not being taxed and l get £3 pw over the gov allowance l have recieved no esa whatsoever since oct 2012 .....so have to live on my pension of £330 pm .
my question is that EDF said l may be entitled to this payment , have refered this to the dwp for confirmation that l am recieving esa before authorising payment BUT will l be classed as recieving esa even if im not actually getting any payment ? l still have to supply medical certificates to the dwp and get 3/4 of my council tax paid and the same for my rent each month
thank you in advance x

its called the warm home scheme, not warm front... that is something completely different.
are you claiming conts based or income based ESA?
most ebergy suppliers are only paying this grant to those on income related benefit
this is only my opinion but i would think that if you havent passed the medical, you arent in the main phase of ESA and are still being assessed.
as such you arent actually on ESA, and i think you would struggle to get the grant0
