8 weeks AGAIN!

after waiting almost 9 weeks for H.S.B.C. to have my sons six yrs of statements ready, he had to leave work early to go in to branch as he was being fobbed off on the phone, only to be told they could see on computer when he had requested them, but they had NOT yet been generated!! he would now have to wait ANOTHER 8 weeks ( as we can't put you in the front of the queue) is what he was told!!!
SO i e-mailed HSBC head office to complain about how inferior they made my son feel at his branch, & even i could find & print statements in a lot less time than 8 weeks...(forgot to say when my son first went into his branch requesting statements they asked for £10 per statement!! until he asked to see manager. They got onto it right away.:j

Hi.

If your son has still got his account, sign up for internet banking and the online statements go back years, even if you were not on internet banking back then, thats how my son got his details. so i assume it is a standard thing.
