Got a question - I know I can post grabbits/ discount codes/ competitions from other companies on the site but what about if they're from my own company, is that allowed? I don't want to directly advertise/spam, although obviously I'm hoping to generate interest in my company, but firstly I want to post about a competition I'm about to run to win goods (no purchase necessary, no postage to pay, would just be through FB likes so no payment needed at all). Would it be ok to do that or counted as spam?

Should really post this in site feedback. The answer is no you cant promote a company you are connected too whether its a comp, promotion, freebie, fb page etc etc

Fair play to the OP ! At least they asked first instead of just spamming the site as a lot do !

The site is free of advertising and people mustn't advertise their own services/websites/ebay sales (please see this rule). If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
• Thanks for the replies, and for moving it to the right forum! Sorry to hear I can't advertise my comp, never mind, maybe an MSE'er will see it and repost one day if I do well enough :D
