How can I access an old email account?

Ages ago I had a Compuserve email account designated
NAME@compuserve.com. I have since migrated to an own domain name email account.
Is there any way I can check my old Compuserve email account to see what has accumulated in it, and could anybody give me an idiot's guide as to how I would do this. I don't even know how I would access the Compuserve account for starters. Thanks.

no, I no longer have the password but didn't realise Compuserve had actually closed down, so I assume that means nothing is accessible any longer?0
