    I've been Money Tipped!
    Brilliant makes everyone

Made my boys some curtains yesterday from a duvet set that I got I. The sale for £2!
They're just plain green (dont think I can tackle patterns yet) but one side is darker than the other so as curtains they are reversible. I have made them tab tops with the tabs alternating in colour.

I know they are very simple, but it was the first big project I've tackled with my sewing machine. So im very happy with myself.

That's takes my total upto 7/13 I think

I am going to attempt to make a bag out of a pair of shorts this afternoon too.

Hi everyone sorry I havent been on in ages but I have been working away on cross stitch and other things. Hope everyone is keeping ok and I will get a chance to catch up on everyones work I have missed.

I have updated/changed my list a bit as some things I no longer want to do (2nd advent calendar for example as I bought a wooden advent house in the same). Also thanks to my friend buying me my first loom (I was saying how much I wanted to try it ;) ) I am now addicted to loom knitting and have ordered a few different ones with my birthday money so I have added that into my list. I have also left a blank one as I am fed up of chopping and changing it. I have also found my Noah's Ark birth sampler I will be doing once the gruffalo is finished.

    1) Baby afghan cross stitch - completed March
    2) 2 x mothers day cards - completed March
    3) 2 x baby birth samplers for friends - completed March

    4) Christmas cards
    5) UFO - Snow leopard cross stitch
    6) UFO - 3rd childs scrapbook
    7) 4th childs scrapbook
    8) The Gruffalo - WIP
    9) Keepsake quilt
    10) Birth sampler Noahs Ark
    11) Family and close friends bday cards - WIP
    12) Loom knit various items
    13)

ps Flickr has changed so now im not sure if my photo will work so I will try one just now x

Getting to work on the lion rug, 100 rows left to go.... as I average about 2 rows a day that's two months work (and I've got to fit everything else in too) and I miss doing x stitch as the rug is not that portable.

    Hello Everyone

Another finish for Sandy Hook - a teddy. It is for one of the wee girls who shared the same birthday as me - it just touched my heart and its the only one I am doing for the children - next the one I am doing for the hospital - its an adapted pattern - seen a design I liked but couldn't afforded the pattern, so using a free pattern and patting it like the one I couldn't afford.

    Hope all are well

Could I possibly join this challenge at such a late stage?? I have many plans of things I want to make as we're redecorating and also a few bits as gifts for Christmas so here is my list:

1/ Finish the roman blind for my daughters bedroom window
2/ Make roman blind for the hobby room window ( possibly from a 1970's printed sheet I bought at a bootsale if it fits in with colour scheme when I decide what that will be!!)
3/ Pouffe for my comfy corner
    4/ Cableknit oblong cushion cover
    5/ garterstitch squares blanket
6/ quilt from old shirts and 70's print bedding in my cupboard. Will need to add to fabrics
7/ recover a couple of old lampshades to fit in with new decor
8/ have a go at making a rag rug from old tshirts (if I have enough) for prettying up the tent when camping
9/ hand pleated interlined curtains for my bedroom window
10/ Finish a dress I had cut out ages ago to wear in the autumn.
11/ Use photo sensitive paper to make my own print on fabric for cushion covers/make said cushion covers
12/ I would love to think I could make the time to do some kind of freeform embroidery panel incorporating lots of applique and fabric painting but this is truly a longshot
13/ make some kitchen accessories for my lil sis's xmas

I am in a making frame of mind atm and have made 2 roman blinds, 2 lampshades, and several cushion covers so hopefully this could help keep me carry on!
